Ruger 22/45
Not to be confused with Luger

Ruger 22/45 is a Secondary Pistol weapon that can be purchased from and sold to Big Al's Gun Shop.
The Ruger 22/45 was one of the items available at the launch of Torn on 15 November 2004, having been introduced during the Torn City Beta.
The Ruger 22/45 has a base fire rate between three to four rounds per turn and can fire 15 rounds without reloading. It has a stealth rating of 4.9, tying it with the Raven MP25, Fiveseven, and Beretta Pico for the Pistol with the highest stealth rating.
Obtaining
The Ruger 22/45 is most commonly obtained as a purchase from Big Al's. It can also be found through city finds.
Ruger 22/45s can be bought from other players through the Item Market, Bazaars, or Trades, but as Secondary weapons do not stack they must be purchased one by one, making it time consuming to buy in bulk.
A high quality Ruger 22/45 with a Weapon Effect can be obtained by opening a Small Arms Cache.
Historical Notes
In the old Ammo system prior to the Attacking 2.0 update, ammo for the Ruger 22/45 costed $15 per clip. The icon for the ammo was a small pistol cartridge.

Trivia
The Ruger 22/45 is one of the few guns in Torn that has a different in game caliber than its real life counterpart. In game the gun uses the 5.7x28mm cartridge, while in real life the gun has only ever been produced in the 5.6x15mmR cartridge, which is far less powerful and has a significantly smaller case. This is likely so the 5.6x15mmR cartridge did not have to be added to the game specifically for the Ruger 22/45, as the gun sees little use.
