Full Body Armor
Full Body Armor is a Defensive item that can that can be purchased from and sold to Big Al's Gun Shop.
The Full Body Armor was one of the items available at the launch of Torn on 15 November 2004, having been introduced during the Torn City Beta. [1] It can be equipped in the body slot.
The Full Body Armor is equipped in layer 3 of the torso slot. [2] It can be equipped with any clothing but will be unequipped by all other torso armor. The Bulletproof Vest will layer over tighter clothing items that occupy layers 1 or 2 such as the Tank Top and will layer under outerwear clothing items that occupy layers 4 or 5, such as the Trench Coat.

Obtaining
The Full Body Armor is most commonly obtained as a purchase from Big Al's. It can also be found through city finds, and given as a mystery gift from the Wheel of Mediocrity.
The Full Body Armor can be found as a result of the following crimes:
- "Cleaning Agency" (quantity one)
- "Dockside Warehouse" (quantity one, requires Lockpicks)
- "Secluded Cabin" (quantity one)
A Full Body Armor can be found one time per player as a unique result for the "Big Al's Gun Shop" Shoplifting subcrime when the shop's guard is on break and the cameras are disabled.
1,000 Full Body Armors will be restocked at Big Al's after being sold out. The amount of time before a restock occurs is half the time it took the item to sell out, rounded to the nearest 15 minutes.
Full Body Armors can be bought from other players through the Item Market, Bazaars, or Trades, but as Defensive items do not stack they must be purchased one by one, making it time consuming to buy in bulk.
Coverage Stats
While its armor rating is fairly low, the Full Body Armor has the highest overall coverage rating in the game for any armor that is not Yellow quality or higher.

"Armor" originally used the British English spelling of "Armour," but this was standardized site wide to the American English spelling in October 2018. [4]
