Chain Mail consists of a series of individual metal rings linked together to form a mesh, resulting in a flexible yet resilient barrier capable of protecting the wearer against blunt force trauma. This form of armor was most commonly used by European warriors between 300 BC - 1500 AD, but today is mostly worn by overweight war reenacters who like to play dressup on the weekends.
