P90
Not to be confused with Dual P90s
P90 is a Primary SMG weapon that can be purchased from and sold to Big Al's Gun Shop.
The P90 was one of the items available at the launch of Torn on 15 November 2004, having been introduced during the Torn City Beta. [1]
Without any Ammo management buffs, the P90 can be used two to five before needing to reload.
Usage
Some players equip a P90 or another SMG weapon with the Revitalize bonus in their primary slot to save energy when doing a large number of attacks. Due to the weapon's lower stats, P90s with less desirable bonuses are commonly traded in at Big Al's Bunker for Bunker Bucks.
Obtaining
The P90 is most commonly obtained through crimes. It can also be purchased from Big Al's, be found through city finds, and is a possible result from paying 75 job points to use the Private Security Firm 5* special, "Open Arsenal." [2]
The P90 can be found as a result of the following crimes:
- "Big Al's Gun Shop" (quantity 1, cameras recording and guards patrolling)
1,000 P90s will be restocked at Big Al's after being sold out. The amount of time before a restock occurs is half the time it took the item to sell out, rounded to the nearest 15 minutes.
P90s can be bought from other players through the Item Market, Bazaars, or Trades, but as Primary weapons do not stack they must be purchased one by one, making it time consuming to buy in bulk.
A high quality P90 with a Weapon Bonus can be obtained by opening a Small Arms Cache. A P90 obtained this way can have a Damage stat up to 63 and an Accuracy stat up to 66.
Buffs
The P90 can use all Weapon Mods that are compatible with SMGs. It can also use all four types of 5.7mm special ammo.
Players can gain Weapon Experience on P90s once the "CBT3870 Bachelor of Military Arts and Science" Education course has been completed. P90s and all primary and secondary weapons gain a 20% damage boost from the "Firearms Expert" 10* special and an extra clip from the "Bandolier" 7* special at Gun Shops.
P90s, along with all primary and secondary weapons, receive a 20% and 5% bonus to Ammo conservation from the "MTH3330 Bachelor of Mathematics" and "MTH2310 Discrete Mathematics" courses respectively. The "CBT2830 Study of Submachine Guns" course gives +1 accuracy to all SMGs.
The P90 is affected by all universal buffs such as the 1% damage boost from completion of the "BIO2350 Evolution" course or the +3 accuracy from the "Seasoned Poacher" 10* Zoo special.

Historical Notes
All P90s used to have the same damage and accuracy stats. Unique stats for each P90 were revealed in a December 2015 update. [3]
In the old Ammo system prior to the Attacking 2.0 update, ammo for the P90 costed $300 per clip. The icon for the ammo ( 
) was a small pistol cartridge. [4]
