Gold Necklace
Not to be confused with Gold Chain
Gold Necklace is a Jewelry item that can be acquired through shoplifting. It can be sold to (but not purchased at) the Jewelry store.
The Gold Necklace was one of the items available at the official launch of Torn on 15 November 2004, having been introduced during the Torn City Beta. [1]
The Gold Necklace is equipped in a unique slot and can be equipped with any Clothing and Armor, including other necklaces. It will layer over armor, but will layer under clothing that is layer 4 or higher. [2] The Gold Necklace will layer above the Pearl Necklace and Silver Necklace but below the Gold Chain, Rosary Beads, and Statement Necklace. [3]

Obtaining
In Crimes 1.0 the Gold Necklace can be obtained through the "Necklace" shoplifting crime. It can also be found through city finds, be obtained through the use of a Christmas Cracker, [4] and can be traded between players.
The Gold Necklace is more common as a Crimes 1.0 shoplifting result when a player's Crime Experience is higher.
The Gold Necklace can be found as a result of the following crimes:
- "Jewelry Store" (quantity between one - two)
- "Drunk Woman" (quantity one)
- "Cottage" (quantity one)
- "Luxury Villa" (quantity one)
- "Postal Office" (quantity one)
