Effect
Increases energy by 500 and booster cooldown by 6 hours.
Type
Booster

Green Easter Egg is a Booster item that is found during the annual Easter Egg Hunt or received as Loot when taking part defeating the Easter Bunny [17].

Green Easter Egg gives 500 energy when eaten and adds 6 hours of booster cooldown.

This item is a untradable item, meaning it cannot be sold on the item market, traded, or sent to another player. Additionally, you cannot trash this item.

Green Easter Egg was released in April 2010 and was one of the original six colored Easter Eggs added to the game. [1].

All Green Easter Eggs that existed on 23 March 2023 were converted into the Chocolate Egg, a one-time event that was meant to prevent players from having large stocks of eggs from previous years after their effect was changed. [2]

Obtaining

The Green Easter Egg can only be obtained during April. It can be obtained as Loot by defeating the Easter Bunny [17] [3] or from the Easter Egg Hunt, during which eggs spawn on-screen. The Green Easter Egg will be added to a player's inventory when clicking its corresponding icon.

The Green Easter Egg cannot be obtained through city finds and cannot be traded between players. The egg is in a three-way tie with the Red Easter Egg and Yellow Easter Egg for being the most common egg by spawn rate. [4]

Usage

Eating a Green Easter Egg increases a player's energy by 500 and increases Booster Cooldown by six hours.

Historical Notes

In the first year of the event, Easter Eggs were added directly to a player's inventory through random events when a player visited a section of Torn corresponding to that egg. The Green Easter Egg had a chance to be found when a player clicked Gym. [5] This theme around the gym was kept as finding Green Easter Eggs gave 50 energy from 2011 to 2022 and now give 500 energy upon use.

Eggs began to randomly spawn on-screen in 2011, during the second year of the Easter Egg Hunt. The Green Easter Egg gave 50 energy when clicked. [6] The only effect upon consumption was increasing a player's happiness by 50 and booster cooldown by 30 minutes. [7] All colored easter eggs with this effect were converted into Chocolate Eggs on 23 March 2023. 84,880 Green Easter Eggs were changed to Chocolate Eggs in total. The Green Easter Egg was also changed from a Candy item to a Booster item the same day.
