Brown Easter Egg
Brown Easter Egg is a Booster item that was released in April 2011. [1] The Brown Easter Egg is found during the annual Easter Egg Hunt and permanently increases all three of a player's Working Stats by 1% when eaten. It cannot be sold to a store.
All Brown Easter Eggs that existed on 23 March 2023 were converted into the Chocolate Egg, a one-time event that was meant to prevent players from having large stocks of eggs from previous years after their effect was changed. [2]
Obtaining
The Brown Easter Egg can only be obtained during April. It can be obtained as Loot by defeating the Easter Bunny [17] [3] or from the Easter Egg Hunt, during which eggs spawn on-screen. The Brown Easter Egg will be added to a player's inventory when clicking its corresponding icon.
The Brown Easter Egg cannot be obtained through city finds and cannot be traded between players. It is tied with the Purple Easter Egg for being the second-rarest egg by spawn rate. [4]
Usage
Eating a Brown Easter Egg permanently increases a player's Manual Labor, Intelligence, and Endurance by 1% each, and increases Booster Cooldown by six hours.

Historical Notes
The Brown Easter Egg was released during the second year of the Easter Egg Hunt. The second year of the event retired eggs being obtained through events in favor of clicking eggs on random pages to obtain them. The Brown Easter Egg boosted a random work stat by 100 when clicked. [5] The only effect upon consumption was increasing a player's happiness by 50 and booster cooldown by 30 minutes. [6] All colored easter eggs with this effect were converted into Chocolate Eggs on 23 March 2023. 58,249 Brown Easter Eggs were changed to Chocolate Eggs in total. The Brown Easter Egg was also changed from a Candy item to a Booster item the same day.

Trivia
The Brown Easter Egg is the only item (outside of Books) that can increase a player's Working Stats.
