Key Details
- Candy items are a type of Cooldown Item that affect your Booster Cooldown timer.
- Candies are one of three types of consumables, along with Alcohol and Energy drinks.
- When you use a Candy item, you add 30 minutes to your Booster Cooldown.
- Candy items increase your Happy by various amount.
- Use of Candy items to restore lost happy or boost happy beyond its maximum, but if happiness exceeds the maximum level, it will reset to the base maximum every fifteen minutes at xx:15, xx:30, xx:45, and xx:00.
- Reading Book : Yes Please Diabetes doubles your candy-related happiness gain and World Diabetes Day triples it. Combining the book's effect with the event's boost multiplies your happiness gain. This means, with a base happiness of 25 from a Lollipop would be 50 happy with the book, 75 happy during the event, and 150 happy if combined with both the book and the event.
- The "Absorption" 7* special at Grocery Stores gives 10% extra happiness from the usage of candy. Booster Cooldown incurred from usage of any candy is reduced by 10% from the "Fast Metabolism" 3* special at Grocery Stores and 25% from the "Professional Metabolism" 10* special at Restauraunts. Faction perks also boost Candy effectiveness.

When the base happiness is multiplied by the faction modifier (×1.5), it results in 37.5, which is then rounded up to 38.
The relative happy per dollar gain between candies remains the same across all modifiers (base, faction, book, or event).
