Purple Easter Egg
Purple Easter Egg is a Booster item that was added to the game's code on 9 March 2021 [1] and was released in April 2021. [2] The Purple Easter Egg is found during the annual Easter Egg Hunt and increases a player's Mission reward credit balance by 25% when eaten. It cannot be sold to a store.
All Purple Easter Eggs that existed on 23 March 2023 were converted into the Chocolate Egg, a one-time event that was meant to prevent players from having large stocks of eggs from previous years after their effect was changed. [3]
Obtaining
The Purple Easter Egg can only be obtained during April. It can be obtained as Loot by defeating the Easter Bunny [17] [4] or from the Easter Egg Hunt, during which eggs spawn on-screen. The Purple Easter Egg will be added to a player's inventory when its corresponding icon is clicked.
The Purple Easter Egg cannot be obtained through city finds and cannot be traded between players. It is tied with the Brown Easter Egg for being the second-rarest egg by spawn rate. [5]
Usage
Eating a Purple Easter Egg increases a player's Mission reward credit balance by 25% and increases Booster Cooldown by six hours. E.g. A player with 100 Mission reward credits will have 125 credits after eating a Purple Easter Egg.

Historical Notes
Prior to an update, the Purple Easter Egg gave 10 Mission reward credits when one was clicked during the Easter Egg Hunt. [6] The only effect upon consumption was increasing a player's happiness by 50 and booster cooldown by 30 minutes. [7] All colored easter eggs with this effect were converted into Chocolate Eggs on 23 March 2023. 25,075 Purple Easter Eggs were changed to Chocolate Eggs in total. The Purple Easter Egg was also changed from a Candy item to a Booster item the same day.
