Polymorphic Virus
Polymorphic Virus is a Virus item that was released in late 2004. [1] It can be acquired through virus programming and can be sold to (but not purchased at) Cyber Force.
The Polymorphic Virus is used in "Plant a Computer Virus" crimes.
Obtaining
The Polymorphic Virus can be programmed using a Personal Computer, Laptop, or Gold Laptop after completion of the CMT2530 Intermediate Programming Education course. A Polymorphic Virus takes 25 days to program. It can also be traded between players. Polymorphic Viruses cannot be found through city finds. [2]
The programming time for a Polymorphic Virus can be reduced through various methods. With all Education completed, the Polymorphic Virus's programming time will be 17 days, or four days with all coding time reductions. Viruses always finish coding shortly after 03:25 TC Time. [3] Programming will continue even if a player disposes of all their computers.

Usage
The Polymorphic Virus is required to do the "Polymorphic Virus" Virus crime. This crime is rarely done as the "Stealth Virus" crime cannot send a player to the Jail or Hospital and gives more money and Crime Experience than any other Virus crimes.
The Polymorphic Virus is not consumed upon use, and can be reused for the crime.
