Pinata is a NPC in Torn City whose initial purpose is to stress test various states of the attacking engine. It has a maximum life of 50,000,000 and wears the Guessing Game honor bar. Its profile can be visited here: Pinata [777]

Pinata can only be attacked at random times when activated by the developers. Players are usually notified 10–15 minutes in advance through the news bar or the official Torn City Discord server. Pinata has a loot level of C, and players may attack it to obtain loot. Participation can be very high, with up to 1,000 players recorded in a single attack. After defeating the Pinata, 100 players will receive various loot.

Historical Notes

The release of Pinata was announced after 2024 Halloweek event to stress test attacking system better:

I plan to create a new attackable NPC called Pinata. This Pinata will be advertised as an open beta test, requesting the attendance of hopefully over a thousand players to join the group attack at a certain time. Assuming everything holds up, once destroyed, the Pinata will drop hundreds of items of loot. We can then use the Pinata to prove the robustness of our attacking engine in a situation similar to the one we faced that night.
