George has several roles in Torn. He offers new players introductory missions, he serves as Torn's official Discord verification bot, and can converse with players who chat him.

George can send medical items (First-Aid Kit, Small First-Aid Kit, or Morphine) to hospitalised players, but only via the medkit scenario as a one-off offer with a short acceptance window. He cannot send other items on request, cannot resend after the window has closed, and never offers outside the scenario trigger.

George cannot be looted, unlike some other lootable NPCs. However, George can be attacked, mugged, and hospitalised by players in the same manner as any other NPC target. Mugging George will yield a percentage of the cash he currently holds; players are able to send money directly to George, so he may carry funds in his pocket. George does not have loot levels and will not drop NPC-exclusive items upon defeat.
