Hydrochloric Acid was first introduced on 11 July 2023 where it was available for purchase in the Pharmacy. It was removed from the Pharmacy on 22 November 2023.

Following the Focused Scouting Burglary patch on May 20, 2025, Hydrochloric Acid, once common in the Foundry giving 10 units, has been nerfed. You now can rarely get 2 at the Foundry, and commonly get 1(instead 3, 4 or 6) at the Cleaning Agency.
