A modern replica of the masks worn by seventeenth-century plague doctors, this leather face covering features a long beak originally designed to hold aromatic herbs. Old-timey physicians believed these botanicals would protect them from the foul air responsible for spreading plague, a theory with as much scientific merit as treating a gunshot wound with Febreze. Their understanding of disease was poor, but the mask's imposing glass eyes and rows of metal rivets show an unquestionable commitment to badass aesthetics. Outside of historical reenactments and Halloween, this mask is popular among Torn's furries who want to experiment without committing to a full crow costume.
