It is required for the Disposal crime when attempting to abandon a vehicle or abandon a murder weapon.

Obtaining

This item can be found randomly through city finds, and as a result from the following crimes:

Burglary:

  • "Cleaning Agency" (quantity five)
  • "Dentists Office" (quantity ten)
  • "Old Factory" (quantity ten)
  • "Paper Mill" (quantity twenty)

Usage

Having Paper Towels in a player's inventory is required for the abandoning disposal method while performing vehicle and murder weapon jobs. One unit of Paper Towels is consumed for each attempt at abandoning a vehicle or murder weapon.

Historical Notes

Paper Towels were first introduced with the release of Burglary during Crimes 2.0's early access on 12 September 2023, found by burglarizing some commercial and industrial targets.

Paper Towels were temporarily added to the Recycling Center for purchase on 22 November 2023 with the release of Disposal, where their use was also implemented. It was removed from the Recycling Center on 01 December 2023.

Paper Towels were originally an Other item. It was updated to a Material item on 01 April 2024.
