This high-tech identification badge contains a customized RFID chip detailing the wearer's particulars. If such an item were programmed to display a certain person's details when scanned, it could theoretically be used to access high-security installations. However, the profiling system deployed in Torn City means you'll never be able to use the same chip twice, with each one inextricably linked to its specific profile upon being scanned and loaded into the database. This ID badge can also be fixed to a lanyard to achieve a cool "dangling" effect.
