Formaldehyde is a compound term derived from the word formal, as in fancy, and de-hyde, which means to make something less spooky. This gas is most commonly deployed in an aqueous solution as a preservative, with its ability to maintain the integrity of biological structures making it an essential substance for natural biologists, shit modern artists, and necrophiliacs.
