Companion Script : Ali
Companion Script : Ali #457

The Companion Script : Ali is an early handwritten copy of part of the Qur'an text, claimed to have belonged to Ali ibn Abi Talib, Muhammad's cousin, son-in-law, and one of his earliest followers. Whereas your mother might describe some guy she's dating secretly in her golden years as her "companion", a Companion in this context is someone from Muhammad's early inner circle. Ali's Companion Script is their personal compilation of the Qur'an text, complete with its own ordering and notes. Think of it as a rough first draft, except rare, collectible, and worth far more as part of the full set of three.
