Overview

Torn Time follows Coordinated Universal Time (abbreviated to UTC). It is not strictly a time zone, but a universal standard. It keeps the same time as Greenwich Mean Time (abbreviated to GMT).

Previously, Torn followed the time of the United Kingdom, that is GMT or in the summer British Summer Time (abbreviated to BST). BST is GMT +1. This was changed to UTC to help standardise the City time throughout the year.

Real Life Geography

On the Travel Agency map, Torn is based in the United States. Similarly, the grammar used site wide has been standardized to the American spelling. The Timezone of Torn was selected because of programming decisions.

Bugs

Occasionally, minor bugs pop up due to Daylight saving time (abbreviated to DST), most commonly flight times. Please report bugs you experience to Bugs and Issues
